Worker portal

Let's explore together the worker’s environment and understand its functionalities. Seeing the system from another perspective allows you to tailor the system to your workers.

The worker portal is part of OnSinch where each of your staff members has their account with everything related to the cooperation with you. They can sign up for shifts, see a complete history of their work, check money movements in their electronic wallet, change notification settings, and update information about themselves in their profile.

Dashboard

On the worker dashboard is the My Agenda section which displays the shifts they are signed up for, and provides a quick overview of their work schedule.

Next to My Agenda is the Feedback section, where workers can provide insight into the shift.

💡Set the number of days till when the staff member can send their feedback in Agency settings > Time limits

On the right side of the dashboard is a Search bar, allowing staff members to quickly find specific shifts. This feature enhances time efficiency and enables them to search for shifts that align with their availability.

Menu

The Available Shifts section lists shifts for which staff members can sign up. They can easily see when and where the job will take place, as well as the profession and role associated with each shift. If a shift is locked or if the staff member does not meet the specified requirements, it is indicated by a set of icons on the right side of the listing. The listing turns green once the staff member has signed up for a shift.

💡Read our article about worker’s self-signup.

In their Wallets, staff members can view records of wages earned for each shift, providing a clear overview of incoming payments, reimbursements, and payout history. If permitted, they can also request payouts or reimbursements.

To enable these requests and set a maximum amount, navigate to Agency Settings > User Accounts.

The Communication section contains records of previous correspondence divided into three categories:

  • News: Messages that workers see upon login, which can be mandatory or optional to read.
  • Notifications: Messages that are configured in the notification settings.
  • Push Notifications: Messages sent to those who are subscribed.

💡If you want to know how to manage notifications for your workers read our article about notification settings.

The Appointments section serves as a list of published sessions for training, payouts, and more. Staff members can sign up for these sessions in the same way they do for available shifts.

💡Read our article about appointments to create and manage them.

One of the last features available to your staff members is access to your company’s content, which includes important contacts, guidelines, and other documents. This section also contains Help for better navigation in the system.

💡Customize content for your staff members in settings > CMS

💡Modify the worker portal with snippets and get unified information to your staff members more easily.
