Staff members can independently record their attendance to streamline the process, ensuring accurate and reliable attendance data.
Onsite attendance can be recorded in two ways. Staff members can do it on their own via self clock in or it can be done by a lead worker on the shift.

Settings
Depending on your preferences, you can choose if the attendance is going to be recorded by your lead worker or if your staff members can self clock in all the time or on shifts without a lead worker.
All this can be set up in the Agency settings in the Jobs section.
You can also set up in Agency settings if the lead worker can record breaks on the shift.
Recording an attendance
Lead worker
Once the lead worker is on shift they just open OnSinch on their phone and click on Record attendance in My Agenda page.
This will open a new window where they can swipe right to confirm arrival and swipe left to confirm absence.
If enabled, the lead worker can also record worker breaks.
Once the shift is complete, the lead worker can swipe right again to record the departure.
The lead worker can also edit the absence or leave a note for the admin explaining the absence.
When the shift is finished and attendance is recorded, the lead worker can close the shift. This feature provides a more accurate and easier process for the admin to close shifts.
💡About closing the shift by a lead worker read our article here.
Admin
An admin can also record the attendance onsite. It is accessible through the shift detail page. When the shift is in the status Running you have to click on Record attendance.
It takes you to a new page, where the system is the same as for the lead worker.
After the attendance is recorded, the shift detail page is going to show you the status of workers.
