Confirmation requests can be used when days are leading up to a big event and you want to make sure staff members are ready and prepared.
You can use it when making important changes to the shift to be sure it doesn't cause a collision for the signed-up staff members.
How to send a confirmation request
You can send the confirmation request from the job, shift, and position level. Once you have people allocated simply click on the "Send" button and choose the option Confirmation.
From here you have three options for messages - email, push notification, and SMS.
❗Please note that SMS gateway is an extra feature requiring a special setup.
❗Staff members unsubscribed to push notifications will not receive one.
Workers will receive the confirmation request and have to confirm it in the OnSinch.
Once the confirmation request is sent, it's indicated in the shift detail page by a set of envelope icons.
Where to find sent confirmation requests
The status of the worker's confirmation is shown by the color of the envelope and when you hover over it, the detail of confirmation can be seen.
The list of sent confirmations can be seen on the Order page in the section Communication.
Dashboard widget
To see the status of sent confirmations add a Pending confirmation request widget to your dashboard.
