Attendance

Attendance is a fundamental aspect of any organized activity. Let's explore together the functions in OnSinch to ease your workflow.

This section in the system allows you to keep track and have a general overview of the presence of your staff members on a shift.

Overlapping attendance

The overlapping attendance page lets you view and manage attendance across multiple upcoming events simultaneously. It provides a visual representation of conflicts in the presence of workers on shift. It is helpful for staff members' allocation and prevention of potential understaffing in the upcoming shifts.

The warning signs inform you about the type of conflict whether in the same shift or across them.

You can access all of the staff member's attendance here ever recorded. Not only that it shows you the attendance status, but also the earned wage, notes from a Lead worker, and more.

💡 In Attendance overview you are able to export the data into a table for subsequent processing.

Attendance issues

Depending on your license type, you can access the attendance issues page. The system informs you about problematic attendance and its issues here so you can take action and your shift flow is more organized and issue-free.

It shows you signed up staff members who don't meet all the requirements for the shift or don't qualify for a specific position and helps you to prevent any conflicts on shifts.

The most common types of issues are categorized generally into Position requirements, basic requirements, or company bans.

Attendance reminders

Notify your signed-up staff members about upcoming shifts via push notifications or SMS messages.

💡Read our article about SMS gateway if you are interested in this feature.

Go to Settings > Agency settings > Staff and turn ON attendance notification. The next thing you should set up is the time window in which the notifications are going to be sent.

Set up the notifications for your staff members in Settings > Notification settings > tab Staff member. Choose between the hardwired ON and OFF options or optional ones.

If you have SMS integration, this feature allows for "Smart notification", which prioritizes push notifications over SMS ones.
