Adding & editing staff badges

Example of badges in staff member profile:

  • Automatically by the app (based on type, see above).
  • Manually in staff member profil in attributes tab.
  • In bulk in staff → staff list:

Badge initialization

All types of badges appart from basic type can be initialized at any time. This means all records of previously added badge levels (both manually and automatically) to all users will be deleted and initialized again based on current number of attended shifts/appointments.

✅Initialization is very helpful when you create a new badge and you need to add it to your staff retroactively.

❕Be aware with initializing already existing badge as the initializion does not reflect previouslyy points added manually by admin.

💡You can initialize single badge or all badges of one type at once in badge type management.

Newbie badge

Newbie badge is a special kind of badge that can help you to easily mark your newly registered junior staff and e.g. using badge as a requirement to reserve them place in certain shifts or vice versa. To create a newbie badge:

  • start creating new badge as usual.
  • insert word ''newbie'' in alias field.
  • set max limit for badge to be displayed - to state how many shifts the person needs to work to stop being a newbie.
  • set type - the type is usually profession or shift badge.

With this setup newly registered staff will automatically get the newbie badge and after attending set number of shifts, the badge will dissapear from their profile determining that they are no longer newbies.

Also you will see in list of upcoming shifts number of newbies attending along with total number of staff.
