CMS

With CMS feature you can create custom content menu for your staff members, admins or clients ensuring they have all the necessary information available right in OnSinch.

Go to Settings CMS to manage your custom content menu.

CMS (content management system) allows you to add your own content righ to the system. Use this feature to communicate with your staff about your team and contacts, agency policy, rules for work, payout process, paperwork. You can also upload files, includes links to youtube videos or your shared drive.

Types of CMS fields:

  1. Menu - menu is shown in left panel and its subitems are shown under it.
  2. Page - page can be shown in left panel or be added to the menu. Pages can have subpages or submenus. Page content and subitems are shown in left part of the screen.

💡Tip: If OnSinch is available in more languages, don't forget to create CMS content for each using language tabs to switch between them.


CMS content

  • Text
    • add your custom text and use formatting tool available to edit size and style.
  • Links
    • text can be hyperlinked with URL. CMS Menu as a whole can be hyperlinked too - when clicking on menu title, link will open. Use to link to videos or other files stored on your drives.
  • Placeholders
    • list of available placeholders can help you to fill information from other parts of the app and settings, e.g. Agency name or contact email.
    • You don't have to write it type it manually and also it helps you maintain changes - when you update the field in settings, the placeholder will automatically update the information everywhere where that specific placeholder is used.
  • Files
    • you can add attachments to the CMS. This takes two steps - first you need to ''Add file'' to the editor and then click on ''Add to content'' to show it in chosen place in page or menu.

    • Once you add the file to content it will be shown in text field in form of placeholder:

 

    • Files will be downloaded to users's device.
    • You can also upload pictures, but please note that the editor does not responsively adjust picture dimensions based on the user's screen size.

CMS visibility

You can decide who will see the CMS content by ticking box or boxes in Views section:

  • Agency
    • All your administrators will see this menu in their account under the system menu. 
    • Useful for sharing internal manuals and guidlines, links, sharing information accross departments.
  • Client
    • Client with access to client portal the menu will be shown under the system menu.
    • Used for sharing information about cooperation and services offered.
  • Non-verified staff
    • Only staff members with unapproved profile will see this content.
    • Handy for informing newly registered staff members about interviews and hiring process while not showing them full agency information untill they are verified and cooperation is confirmed.
  • Verified staff
    • Only staff members with approved profile will see this content.

CMS in worker portal

This is an example of CMS content in verified staff member account. Each menu or page can have its own icon for better navigating. 

When page is set to be visible for agency or client, it will be always shown like this, under system menu.

💡Tip: Log in as a staff member to see exactly how they will view the content and ensure that it is all published correctly.


Disabling CMS content

If you need to disable part of the CMS go to respective line in CMS editor and set status to Nonactive.  You can make the page or menu active again anytime.

Note: If you disable parent menu all subitems will be disabled too.


iFrame - embedded link

You can embedded your google sheet or doc to CMS using iFrame function. This allows you to view the sheet in OnSinch. Changes made to the source sheet will be reflected in CMS.

1. Open document you want to connect and click on File Share Publsh to web. In Embed tab choose if you want to share entire document or just selected sheet and click on Publish.

2. Unique iFrame link will appear. Copy the link URL. Go to OnSinch CMS page; in text editor icons click on Source and insert the link to the text field and save.

3. Check preview and see how the sheet looks. You might need to adjust the width and height in pixels of the link to make it more fit to your screen in pattern e.g.:

  • height ="500"
  • width = "500"
