Prices your customers pay for transport are separated from prices for the provided work of your staff members. Read about how to set up transport prices in OnSinch in this article.
Go to Settings → Finances → Pricelists to view and edit your transport price rates.
Similarly to price records for work, you set the price for transport for each profession.
In the transport pricelist it does not matter what role staff members have on the shift, but whether they are passengers or drivers. This allows you to charge for drivers more.
There are two types of transport pricelists:
1. Hour transport pricelist
The client will be charged for transportation based on the time spent commuting per staff member.
Example:
Tick the box to use the same wage for drivers if you want to charge for passengers and drivers the same.
2. Distance transport pricelist
The client will be charged for transportation based on the actual travel distance (miles/kilometers) per staff member.
Example:
You charge 5/km for each staff member traveling as a passenger to work as Stagehand regardless of the total distance. For driving Stagehand you always charge a fix rate of 220 in addition to the calculated price per km which is based on the total distance.
E.g. if you sent a crew of 5 stagehands (4 passengers and 1 driver) to do the work and the distance was 130 km, you will charge your customer 4 250 in total (130*5*4 for passengers and (11*130) + 220 for the driver).
Tick the box to use the same wage for drivers if you want to charge the client for passengers and drivers the same.
💡Tip: Use invoice line items if you charge for other things such as car or gas.
