Ratelists: Rates
Define the financial values applied to your units, including hourly pay, flat fees, and percentage-based bonuses.
The rate is the financial value applied to your selected unit. Whether you are calculating staff wages or client prices, the rate determines the final total.
Rate types
You can define your rates using three different calculation methods:
Hour rate
-
Set the amount to be charged or paid per hour. This is the standard for most hourly-based work.
- Example: If the profession is "Stagehand", €23 for each hour worked.
Flat rate
-
Enter a fixed total amount. This is used when the payment is a single set fee, regardless of the time spent (used with "flat rate" unit type).
- Example: If the role is staff leader, add flat bonus 20 for the whole shift.
Percentage
-
Calculate the amount as a percentage of another value (rate).
- Example: If the attendance touches the custom "Night hours" unit, apply 50% of the base hourly rate on top for all night hours worked.
System default hours rounding
When calculating final totals, keep in mind that your rounding setup can affect the final value. The system calculates precise minutes, but your configuration determines how those are rounded for the final total.

Where to check: You can view your current rounding configuration in Settings → Agency → Agency Settings.
