Ratelists: Feature overview

The ultimate flexible tool to automate your math. Build your own library of rules so you can pay and charge exactly how you want, every single time.

What is ratelist?

Ratelist is a collection of rules that tells the system exactly how much to pay a staff member or charge a client in every scenario. A ratelist is essentially a collection of "If/Then" rules.

Every rule you create within a ratelist is built using four core pillars - Conditions, Units, Rates and Components.

Go to Settings > Finances > Ratelists to manage your wage and price setup.

Everything is organized into dedicated tabs so you can manage your financial setup at one place:

  • Wagelists: What you pay your staff for their work.
  • Pricelists: What you charge clients for the work done by your staff.
  • Transport wagelists: What you pay staff for travel.
  • Transport pricelists: What you charge clients for staff travel.
  • Units: Custom time interval rules for night hours, weekends, or bank holidays.
  • Components: The labels used for PDFs, exports, wallet records, and API integrations.

The system doesn't limit you to a single list. You can create as many specific ratelists as your business requires. That allows you to:

  • Manage company-specific rates: Set different ratelists as the default for specific companies.
  • Stay flexible across jobs: Pick the right ratelist when creating a job (e.g., use a "Festival" list for summer and a "VIP" list for special events).
  • Prepare for the future: Create new ratelists in advance and start using them when the new year or a new season begins.
