You are outside of the location
Are you really at the work location?
- You should do the clock-in at the location of work, not sooner. Try again once you arrive at the location.
Are you at the work location, but you still see the same message?
- Your location is still being checked - wait a second and click on Try again.
- GPS signal of your device might not be accurate due to technical reasons. If you are at the location, you can still clock in to indicate the start of your work. Click on Confirm anyway.
- Leave a note to administrators when clocking out.
GPS is not available

Do you have location access on your smartphone allowed?
iPhone users (Safari):
1. Check Location Services
- Go to Settings.
- Search in the search bar for Location Services.
- Find Safari in the list.
- Check your settings - choose ''Ask next Time or When I share'' or ''While Using the App''.
2. Check Safari settings
- Go to Settings.
- Search in the search bar for Safari.
- Navigate to the location tab at the bottom of the list.
- Check your settings - choose ''Ask'' or ''Allow''.
Android users (Chrome):
- Go to Settings.
- Search in the search bar for Location access.
- Find Google browser in the list.
- Check your settings - go for option ''Allow'' or ''Ask''.
After changing your settings, log out and then log back in into your OnSinch account and proceed with clock-in.
2. Have you previously declined location access for OnSinch?
iPhone users (Safari):
When using OnSinch in Safari browser (you see the URL bar)
- Open Safari with the OnSinch link and click on the icon in the bottom left corner
- Click on the three dots on the right
- Scroll to the location part and choose the option ''Ask'' or ''Allow''
- Go back to your OnSinch account and log out, and log back in to your account
When you have the OnSinch icon on your homescreen as a shortcut
- Double-check your location permissions in the Settings of your phone (see steps above).
- Open your OnSinch and log out.
- Close the tab completely.
- Open the tab from your homescreen and log in.
If these steps do not help:
- Click and hold the OnSinch icon to remove it from your homescreen.
- Double-check your location permissions in the Settings of your phone (see steps above).
- Open OnSinch in Safari browser and log in.
- Click on the share icon and select the option Add to home screen.
- Open OnSinch from your new homescreen bookmark.
- Proceed with clock-in
Android users (Chrome):
- Open OnSinch in your browser.
- Click on the filter icon in the URL bar.
- Click on the Permissions option.
- Allow OnSinch to access location.
- Refresh the page and proceed with clock-in.

What should I do when I clock-in or clock-out incorrectly?
You cannot change your clock-in or clock-out time once you have clicked the buttons. If you made a mistake, please reach out to the administrators.
